Tony and his guys were absolutely brilliant, they've done an outstanding job, my mum is over the moon. But more importantly they were very respectful and helpful towards her as she's not in the best of health.  I would 100% recommend very well priced and lovely fellas to boot. Don’t use their WhatsApp - different people dip in and out of the chat and there isn’t any continuity of the conversation. I thought I’d booked a call out (on a day they had proposed) but then got a message afternoon before saying it hadn’t been booked. Then the fault escalated and i had to get an out of hours call out. Fault turned out to be an arcing fuse (dangerous!). On the WhatsApp chat they had suggested it was a faulty bulb. That’s after I’d explained the issues I was experiencing with flickering lights and appliances not working. In summary - don’t WhatsApp!

The problem was quickly identified and corrected.  Electrics of the kitchen was up and running in no time.  The electricians (Dan and Harrison) were very professional, courteous and efficient. Do i need to upgrade?

Why do i need RCD's?

Residual Current Device (RCD) is a must have safety device which switches electricity off in a fraction of a second incase of an electrical issue. Old fuse boxes don’t have RCDs and can take significantly longer to switch off electricity i.e. the difference between life and death.

How do i fix a tripped switch or fuse?

Will I need any other work doing if my electrics are old?

It’s unlikely you will need any other work doing just because your electrics are old. The most common additional work that may be required is earth bonding. It is mandatory under UK wiring rules that earth bonding is present before any electrical work can be undertaken.
